Transitional Spaces is a poetry zine adapted from work I created in 2016, before I began testosterone or had top surgery.
A photograph of my pre-transition body leads into illustrations of fragmented body parts drifting among asteroids, accompanied by poetry reflecting on the experience of existing in a trans body. The zine imagines a ‘future body’; my body reassembled and finally feeling whole.
